Compare: One-Touch Superautomatic Espresso Machines

There will be a day in our future — perhaps distant, perhaps not — in which we will seriously regret the little robots we have allowed to take over our lives. Sure, it may seem a far-fetched form of paranoia straight out of a whole slew of science fiction films, and sure, these one-touch superautomatic espresso machines aren’t going to hijack your space ship or implant themselves in your brain … but this is where it begins, friends. This is where it begins.

Watch Gail’s overview of our future robot overlords’ ancestors — including models from Saeco, Jura and DeLonghi.

I just stumbled on you guys and I think you’re great! So informative. I currently have a Jura Impressa E8 and love the taste of my coffee. I am curious, though, about the taste of the coffee from the different brands. Are they all the same, or able to be programmed to be the same? I like a “standard” coffee from my machine. I must send my machine in for repairs ($$$) so I’m thinking about a Saeco because of the ease of cleaning. Is there a brand that you recommend? I like the superauto features.

      Thank you!

I think the Juras are great for espresso / coffee only drinks, but dig the Saeco and DeLonghi machines for more milk focused drinks. They all taste a bit different but produce tasty coffee all around :)
