With a little more sass than the Aroma — like a steam wand with more range of motion, buttons located on the front of the machine and a little drawer under the drip tray — the Via Venezia is an excellent semi-automatic that is simple and easy to use. Watch as Gail takes us through its features, brews up some coffee and froths some milk for us.
Crew Review: Saeco Via Venezia

Hey! This looks like a reincarnation of our Starbucks Barista, but with the addition of the milk fluffer. Nice price point, nice little machine!
Yes – both this and the Aroma have had previous lives as Baristas
Thanks for the great youtube videos! I just ordered this one – can’t wait to get it!
Awesome! When you get it, let us know if you need any help with setup, etc.
Would this be a good starter machine? Looking to get into the whole espresso world but don’t want to break the bank for my first machine.
Also do you ship to canada, or would I be better to make the 2 hr drive to retail store?
It’s a great machine to start with and can also be adapted (by getting the non-pressurized handle in the future) to a more traditional style of espresso extraction, which would require a good grinder, so it can grow with your skill if you want it to. Kind of nice because then if you decide to get more sophisticated about your grind/tamp/etc., you don’t necessarily have to buy a new machine out of the gate in order to do so.
We don’t currently ship to Canada, so you’d need to pick it up in the store. Also, all warranties on US-sold Saeco machines are void in Canada, so keep that in mind. It may be better for you to find one in Canada so you have support there.
